America: The Coffin of Capitalism

What is America now if not the coffin and grave of capitalism? The Americans have achieved what the Soviet Union couldn’t. They have killed capitalism and buried it in a secret unmarked grave, where posterity will never find it. With this achievement, they have sealed the fate of Western civilization. Many decades from today, historians will write that the killing of capitalism was not America’s ultimate achievement—the killing of Western civilization was.

It has been interesting to observe the differences between Western Europe and the United States over the past 20 years. Then, Western Europe had already for two decades been defenseless against Radial Islam and the trend only went one way. As Mark Steyn called his book at around that time, it was “America Alone” in resisting the suicide of the West.

In the 20 years since, and particularly the last 10 years, the trend in Western Europe towards the eventual victory of Radical Islam has not been stopped, let alone reversed. But the trend has been gradual and could be reversed if the will were there. Meantime, the United States has fallen off a cliff. The speed with which the country has fallen from the premier defender of Western Civilization to a first-rate banana republic is truly frightening.

As far as I can tell, Western European countries such as Denmark, Norway the Netherlands and many others still have very identifiable national and cultural traditions that bind them together and serve as a defense against radical Islam, and to a certain extent, identity politics. The United States, on the other hand, not being rooted in a certain place and no longer being a ‘Creedal’ nation does not have these defenses and now does not so much look like a retreating, but standing army as a pricked balloon.

@Henrik, You are right. The USA of today is first rate banana republic and this fall has happened in just 15 years. This is, in my opinion, the fastest decline and fall of a major power in the history of last 3000 years.
